Collecting, Traveling and Living in the Old West

The Spirit of the Old West intends to create an informative website providing information about collectibles, historical events, places and people in the 1800,s. We consider the term "Old West" as synonymous with the 1800's or earlier, therefore we have web pages for all 50 states and all the provinces of Canada.

We are hoping collectors, dealers and anyone interested in the Old West will share their photographs of their collections or travels. We are looking for quality photographs and articles of collectibles, historical events, historic sites, tourist attractions, wildlife and landscapes. We are also looking for photos of events and activities such as re-enactments, rendezvous, cowboy action shooting, gun and militaria shows.
Unfortunately we can not pay for submissions. We are hoping you will want to share your collections and experiences with fellow individuals of common interest!
The collectible and historical theme of the website is pre-1900.

It is your decision if you would like to be credited for submissions - or remain anonymous!
If you wish to remain anonymous, you can be assured there will be no electronic trail to identify you.

We have only recently begun this website, so with your help, we have much to do to get it where we want it!
